Disadvantages: the circuit is more complex than the constant voltage drive, and the requirements for the high frequency characteristics of the transistor are improved. The motor is still vibrating at a low speed, and the heating is still relatively large.
3. self excited constant current chopper drive
The working principle of self-excited constant current chopper is driven by the hardware design when the current reaches a set value when the current through the hardware will be closed, and then turn to another winding is energized, another current winding is energized to a fixed current, but also through the hardware will be shut down so, again, to promote the stepper motor operation.
Advantages: the noise is greatly reduced, the speed of the speed is improved to a certain extent, and the performance is better than the first two kinds.
Disadvantages: high requirements for circuit design, high requirement for circuit anti-interference, easy to cause high frequency, burnout of driving elements, and high requirement for component performance.
4. current comparison chopper drive (the main technology currently used in the market)
The current comparison chopper drive is to turn the stepper motor winding current value to a certain proportion of voltage, and compare with the preset value of the output of the D / A converter, and compare the results to control the switch of the power tube, so as to achieve the purpose of controlling the phase current of the winding.
Advantages: making motion control simulation sine wave characteristics, greatly improving the performance, moving speed and noise are relatively small, and can use relatively high subdivision, is the current popular control method.
Disadvantages: the circuit is more complex, difficult to control the interference on the circuit and theoretical requirements coincide, prone to jitter, formation of sine wave crests and troughs in the control, easily lead to high frequency interference, which leads to driving the heating element or aging because the frequency is too high, and this is the time when many drives use for more than 1 years to the main reason light protection.
5. submersible drive
This is a brand new motion control technology. It is a new drive method to overcome the shortcomings of the current chopping drive technology. Its core technology is to increase the heating and high frequency protection technology of the drive element under the premise of the current compared with the chopper drive.
Advantages: the advantages of both current and chopping drive are especially small, and the service life is longer.
Shortcomings: new technology, the price is high, at present, each step motor and driver matching requirements are relatively strict.
